Our Future

The future
We plan to build on the success of our Saturday school by developing after school provision and opportunities for parents.
AFSC will consider provision of French and Swahili classes as extra activities within school premises. The community organisation that the classes will be run from will benefit, as it will become a focal meeting point for parents, carers and grandparents alike. Also parents will be able to access other services that are available and this will encourage networking, as parents will inform other parents about the facilities available within the community organisation.
Parenting sessions and workshops for refugees and asylum seekers, especially those of French and Swahili background living in UK will be a major part of this project and are due to start in a very near future.
We will also organise African dance classes for children and adults from next summer.
AFSC will also consider the provision of its services in other parts of the world (i.e. England and Wales and Africa) in the future.
