Our Achievements
This project has not only developed our student's communication skills and their self-esteem. This has also enabled them to communicate in another language other than English. This will be of great benefit to them, and will empower them in later life. Most students who attended our classes in 2004 were of primary school age. Our students were able to transfer skills acquired at the classes into their respective schools.
This project has improved the quality of life for neighbouring groups also. Refugees and asylum seekers living in Bromley have benefited and enhanced community cohesion. Parents took more pride and participted in the education of their children. They developed confidence and useful skills to participate with other groups.
